Assured Dairy Farms is Red Tractor qualifying scheme that provides confidence about the production methods and the safety and quality of milk leaving the farm premises and entering the dairy supply chain. The scheme also assures calves and older cows from the dairy herd that enter the beef supply chain. Participating farms are required to comply with a stringent yet practical and cost-effective set of standards covering food safety, animal welfare, traceability and environmental protection. These are checked by an independent assessment of every farm on a regular basis.
Assured Dairy Farms (ADF) was formerly known as the National Dairy Farm Assured Scheme (NDFAS)
